EatingWell offers information and recipes on healthy eating. It’s not just about guac and chips with avocadoes nowadays — they’re great in everything from dips to dessert and breakfast to brownies. Authored by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi the book is a compendium of some 140 recipes divided among vegetables (including sections on eggplant, greens and root vegetables), meat and fish, baking and patisserie and a final section on tips for your larder. To microwave in clay just soak the cooker in the usual manner and follow the standard microwave timing.� A general rule for meats is 5 minutes on HIGH and 15 minutes on LOW for each pound of meat used.� Increase cooking time if many vegetables are added.� NOTE:� I�ve not used mine in the microwave as I find it doesn�t take that long in the oven.� The bigger the meat and the more vegetables you use, the longer it takes so sometimes it makes more sense to use the standard oven.� I�m not a proponent of cooking meat in the microwave anyway.� However, fish would be just fine.
